Pennsylvania Convention Center Hosts Back to School Backpack Drive to Benefit 150 Students
On Tuesday, August 20, the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority hosted a backpack drive to provide 150 backpacks with school supplies to students participating in programs hosted by the non-profit Mighty Writers, which hosts free writing workshops and after school programs for kids 7 to 17. The backpacks will be distributed to participants in the Mighty Writers’ summer camp program. -
