The 2nd Annual City of Philadelphia Parent & Youth Resource Fair takes place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is free. It will feature raffle giveaways, a DJ, and light refreshments.
Many City agencies and service providers will share information, materials, and guidance to assist and support children and teens. Young people can get connected to:
- Summer camps
- Late afternoon/evening activities
- Emotional support
- Mentoring
- Conflict resolution
- Food support
- And more!
You’ll discover safe, engaging, and enriching summer activities for children, teens, and families. The available programs, services, and resources will provide valuable information that can make a difference in the lives of Philadelphia’s young people. PHL Cares, a business-led initiative investing in solutions to address chronic street homelessness in the City of Philadelphia, has donated $500,000.00 to help launch HOPE 220, the City of Philadelphia’s new, low-barrier transitional housing facility located at 220 N. Broad Street.
