The African American Children’s Book Project will host one of the oldest and largest single-day gatherings of authors and illustrators of Black children’s books in the country. The African American Children’s Book Fair has put Philadelphia on the map as a literary destination for children’s books.
Award-winning authors and illustrators will autograph and make presentations from their books. A wide selection of affordable Black children's books, preschool to young adult, will be available for purchase. The event will also feature free promotional giveaways, prizes, and games.

PHLCares Donates $500,000 to HOPE 220, Newly Opened Housing Solution Center in Philadelphia
PHL Cares, a business-led initiative investing in solutions to address chronic street homelessness in the City of Philadelphia, has donated $500,000.00 to help launch HOPE 220, the City of Philadelphia’s new, low-barrier transitional housing facility located at 220 N. Broad Street.
