Pennsylvania Convention Center Hosts Back to School Backpack Drive to Benefit 150 Students
On Tuesday, August 20, the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority hosted a backpack drive to provide 150 backpacks with school supplies to students participating in programs hosted by the non-profit Mighty Writers, which hosts free writing workshops and after school programs for kids 7 to 17. The backpacks will be distributed to participants in the Mighty Writers’ summer camp program. -

The Pennsylvania Convention Center is proud to announce that its art website, www.paconventionart.com, has been updated to include the Center’s “Legacy Collection,” artwork that was acquired when the building first opened in 1993.
