Contributing to Philadelphia's reputation as an art-filled city, the Pennsylvania Convention Center has a stunning collection of 100 pieces of high quality contemporary artwork which celebrate artists who hail from the area.
A wildly diverse range of sculpture, screen prints, paintings, photos, ceramics and collages are displayed throughout the building. Highlights include an extraordinary suspended steel and aluminum sculpture in the train shed, measuring more than 200 feet long, and a conceptual large-scale installation with sound-components that spans the length of two city blocks.
