Important DSL Internet Service Information
You will need to purchase a TCP/IP address for each computer or other device on your network. This applies even if you will use a proxy server or other gateway for some of the devices. We deliver the service to a single location in your booth. The equipment delivered to your booth provides hardware support for up to 8 Ethernet devices. If you have purchased more than 8 addresses, you can bring additional hubs and/or switches yourself or rent them from us. Your computers should have network interface cards that support 10base T Ethernet. Your computers should be configured to support TCP/IP. The device we deliver to your booth will serve as a DHCP server, so you may use DHCP, static IP addressing or a combination of both. DHCP (dynamic host control protocol) is the recommended method. In most operating systems, such as the various versions of Microsoft Windows, you can configure your computer to use DHCP by selecting to "obtain an IP address automatically" from your TCP/IP control panel. If you choose DHCP, you need not enter the default gateway, DNS server addresses or subnet mask.
